Children doing your head in?

Head outside to play.

So many of the behaviour management challenges that we experience either at home or in an early childhood setting fade away if we "take away the walls."

  4. Love this great pull-together of all things outdoors! Excellent pinterest boards (I so love Debi and all her wonderful ideas for outdoor learning and play!) I also enjoy the resources from Nature Rocks!, Discover the Forest and the Jr. Ranger programs to encourage families to get outside. Glad to connect to another nature lover!

  5. So honored to have the Outdoor Play Party featured on your site! It is wonderful to have the support of bloggers who have such a passion for outdoor play.

And I so agree with your quote of bouncing off the walls. I have VERY energetic kiddos and inside they can drive me crazy but outside they can channel their energy in a more positive way.

  6. These are wonderful places to discover ideas. I was inspired at the start of the year by Rebecca Cohen and her 365 ideas for outdoor play and we are doing 15 minutes minimum outside every single day (not yet had a day where we did less than a hour). I'm documenting it all on my other blog http://www.natureandplay.com - a lot of our outdoor play is simple pottering and playing in the garden but as toddlers and early preschoolers both love the freedome to do what they want.
