Painting nature

Nature is the supreme mother of interesting "loose parts" for children to explore and use in their play.

At the moment the children can't get enough of painting them.  Rocks, seed pods, sticks, bottle brushes, leaves - nothing is safe from a lick of paint.

With so many different interesting shapes, sizes and textures, who can blame them?

  1. We collected lots of lovely white shells and bits of driftwood and dead sea urchins at Kurnell today, so after the nature table for 1 week we'll give this a go. Thanks for the great idea.
