When our poor old gazebo was tragically struck down in the prime of it's life by a tree during a storm, we salvaged some of the sides knowing full well that one day we would find a use for them. Because that's what preschool teachers do.
We rustled up 4 big pots, and played around in the dirt for a bit.
And watered them well. Now, it looks rather cobbled together at the moment - because that is exactly what it is - but just wait until our seedlings grow to cover the lattice. We will have a beautiful, living bean hut.
It didn't take long for the children to move in and make it their own.

I love it! How simple but beautiful. I will be keeping this one in mind for sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome cubby, I'd sneak in a couple of pea seeds too, they're very popular at our house.
