Every morning we are greeted with spider's webs glistening with dew all over the playground, so we decided to have a crack at making our own web.
Using an idea shamelessly stolen from Teacher Tom, we upturned a small table and put out a basket filled with balls of wool. I started them off by tying a length of wool to each of the legs.
The kids wove and wove and wove, in and under and around - adding different colours to the mix.
As the morning went on, the web started to migrate around the corner.
And caught a lot of children in the process.
It bought back memories of the web making frenzy that gripped preschool a couple of years ago.
