How can I make Let the Children Play more of a community space - a playbourhood - for all of us who share an interest for play in early childhood?
This is what I've come up with.
1. Join in the conversation on Facebook
My Facebook Page is more than a space for me to share information and resources with you. It is a space for you to share with the 5000+ peeps who have 'liked' the page - and to pick their collective brains So please, don't be shy. Jump in and post your:
- ideas for playful learning
- images of playful learning
- thoughts or tips on teaching, early childhood education or connecting kids with nature
2. Contribute content to Let the Children Play.
So far the blog has been all about me, me, me. Let's open things up a bit and make it more about you, you, you. Let the Children Play is open to guest posters - you can find more information here.
3. Ask a question
Looking for ideas for preschool? For the kids at home? If you contact me with your questions I'll post them on Facebook and Twitter and between our collective brains I'm sure we can come up with an answer!
4. Play with us
I co-host a weekly linky called It's Playtime along with Quirky Momma, Hands on: As we Grow, Messy Kids and The Imagination Tree. Join in with your playful learning ideas or check out the playful community each week for inspiration.
5. Who are the people in your Playbourhood?
Would you like to share your blog with us using the linky below? Once the linky is closed I'll post a link to "Who are the people in your Playbourhood?" in my sidebar and blog love tab for easy reference.
Now over to you: what would you like to see on Let the Children Play?
How can I make this blog more useful to you?
