do you have a nature play idea?
If you would like to share a nature play tip on nature play friday simply email me the link.  I am always looking for new ideas to get kids playing in and with nature.

  1. Here is a great activity idea for preschoolers to enjoy and explore nature - Rock Smash. Kids can infuse color into fabric by smashing flowers or grass with a rock. Check out the video on our blog - Rock Smash or copy and paste this link

  2. I have an award for you on my blog =)

  3. My son will love hunting for leaves... Great idea! I just posted an outdoor/indoor activity a day ago that he LOVES! Going Buggy for Buggers:

  4. Some great simple ideas to connect kids with nature. Thanks.

  5. Great ideas as always, Jenny! Over on Fun Friday this week, we went on a spring nature scavenger hunt. You can check it out here:

  6. Thanks for the link. I'm off to check out some of the other now, the idea of see-through gardening looks interesting.

  7. I wanted to let you know that I awarded you the Trendy Treehouse on my blog. There is no better trend than encouraging children to interact with nature!!

  8. Even when your ideas are on holidays Jenny you have great ideas! Donna :) :)

  9. Your Therapy Source: thanks for the tip - I've bookmarked it to use later on :)

MessyMissy and Crisc23: Very chuffed with my awards - thank you so much.

Debi: I just went and checked out your nature walk and I love the idea of a checklist. This would be a great way to keep the older ones engaged - I've filed the idea away for preschool :)

ournextchapters: my oldest son was nuts about his bug hunting when he was that age - we had a few bug catchers and I agree they are a cheap way to bring hours of fun and learning.
