A treasure hunt outside for found objects is a fun way to start:
Sticks, leaves, gumnuts team up well with natural hued collage material such as cut up paper, material, wool and paddle pop sticks.
Add some pencils or crayons in browns, oranges and greens.
And let the creating begin!
A simple and fun way to bring the natural world to the preschool classroom.
How have you used natural materials in art experiences?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI've used nature materials as collage items but I've never included other nature-inspired materials (paper, etc.) or appropriate colors of crayons. What a wonderful idea.
