Christmas Spiderweb

I wrote here about how the children have been busily making spider webs, and here about their seeming desire to wrap the world in masking tape.

Now they have managed to combine their two current passions.

Introducing "The Christmas Spiderweb":

The children worked together to stretch tape from the verandah all the way up to the side fence and then back again, and then decorated it for Christmas with every single scrap of paper on the collage table.

At first they carted handfuls of recycled collage materials. Then they carried over the baskets. Then when they realised the project was bigger than they thought they dragged the whole darn collage trolley over with them.

I think it looks prettier than any decoration we could come up with.

It even waves gently in the breeze.
