Surrounded on three sides by National Park, we can open our preschool gate and step right into the beautiful Australian bush.
Most days we try to go "outside the gate", usually with a small group of children.
Sometimes our walks are long.
Othertimes we go to the creek.
Sometimes we head out with no goal in mind, other than to follow the lead of the children.
We say we are off on a "bush play".
We take our time to pause.
Whatever we do, the most important thing is that our children have the opportunity to form a connection with their local natural environment.
